With the help of a guide, we learned how to spot the friendly-faced sloth dangling high in the canopy of Costa Rica’s rainforests.
We went in search of both two and three-toed sloths near the Arenal Volcano in Alajuela Province. While there are many sanctuaries throughout the country, these were spotted in their natural habitat.
