WATCH: Hong Kong island’s steep, winding city streets

Taking one of Hong Kong’s iconic red taxis is a must for any first-time visitor. Straightforward, affordable, and quick — these are are a bit of a departure from the same experience on the Mainland.

Hiring a private car or using a ride-sharing service is also a reliable form of transportation here.

They make driving the sometimes steep, winding, and congested roads seem like a breeze.
