One of the most popular hiking destinations in north Arkansas, Whitaker Point (also called Hawksbill Crag) is located in Ozark-St. Francis National Forest. A spectacular view of the valley is about a 1.5 mile hike from the trailhead. The season and time of day can provide dramatically different scenery.

Hi Geri! This is definitely an ‘easy’ trail, even for novice hikers. Changes in elevation aren’t too extreme, though, it may be a little far for anyone with mobility issues.
Thanks for the wonderful video. Is this hike one most people could do?
