WATCH: Florida’s mind-blowing waters of Crystal River

The spring-fed crystal clear waters of Crystal River in southwest Florida are a year-round haven for the threatened manatee.

Established in 1983, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge is the only national wildlife refuge in the country specifically created to protect habitats for the beloved marine mammal.

Our journey in a clear-bottom kayak took us to Three Sisters Springs, the last unspoiled and undeveloped spring habitat in Kings Bay.
