WATCH: Arromanches, site of D-Day’s artificial harbor

It was here at Arromanches-les-Bains, along the English Channel, that the Allies set up a temporary harbor to offload critical equipment immediately after D-Day on June 6, 1944. The town was the site of the Gold Beach invasion and one of two Mulberry harbors.
