WATCH: The Berlin Wall — a silent witness to history

The Berlin Wall Memorial sits along a 1.4 km strip at Bernauer Strasse in the capital city. A section of the wall still stands to illustrate the division created for decades until 1989. A unique memorial tells the story of the lives ended while trying to escape oppression.
