Last-minute moves set up exciting race finish at Texas Motor Speedway

The first day of Spring provided perfect weather for IndyCar racing at Texas Motor Speedway near Ft. Worth, Texas.

Josef Newgarden pulled off an exciting comeback in the final lap to win the XPEL 375 on Sunday, March 20.

Despite the sunny skies and cooler weather, attendance figures were anemic.

Some have speculated this could be the final IndyCar Series race at the track, at least for a while. Dipping ticket sales and a ho-hum approach to racing have led to uncertainty over whether a contract would be renewed at the venue.
